SHAH ALAM, Nov 14 (Bernama) -- Selangor has collected revenue totalling RM2.49 billion as of Nov 13, 2025, equivalent to 106.17 per cent of the full-year 2025 target of RM2.35 billion, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
Amirudin said the state government anticipates revenue collection to exceed RM2.7 billion by the end of the year.
“This is a highly encouraging achievement for the state government despite increasingly challenging economic and geopolitical conditions at present,” he said while tabling the Selangor Budget 2026 in the State Legislative Assembly today.
Meanwhile, Amirudin said the Selangor Consolidated Fund totalled RM4.83 billion as of Nov 12, 2025.
He added that the state’s reserves began to rise in 2018 and have increased by RM2.7 billion since then.
“By consistently practising prudent expenditure, the state government’s financial performance up to Nov 12, 2025, has recorded a surplus of RM402.05 million,” he said.
