M K LAND CELEBRATES DOUBLE VICTORY AT MALAYSIA PUBLIC RELATIONS AWARDS 2024

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 (Bernama) -- M K Land Holdings Berhad (M K Land) has added another feather to its cap after winning two prestigious accolades at the Malaysia Public Relations Awards (MPRA) 2024 held last Friday at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral.

Competing against almost 200 submissions from top PR agencies and corporate practitioners nationwide, M K Land emerged victorious in two major categories:

1. Best Use of Social Media Content Award – For "Building M K Land’s Digital Footprint from Scratch" by Assistant Manager of Digital Media, Group Corporate Communications Khaidir Kamaruzzaman.

2. Corporate Branding Award – For "M K Land: Rebuilding a Legacy, Elevating the Brand" by Assistant Manager of Strategic Branding, Group Corporate Communications Hazirah Izham.

“These awards symbolise M K Land’s evolution over the years. Winning the Best Use of Social Media Content Award is particularly meaningful. Starting with no digital footprint, we’ve built a vibrant and impactful online presence that amplifies our voice, engages communities, and showcases our vision for sustainability and growth,” said M K Land Deputy Chief Operating Officer Nazri Tumin, expressed heartfelt gratitude and pride in the team’s accomplishments.

“The Corporate Branding Award reflects our focus on integrating tradition with a forward-thinking mindset, ensuring the legacy we’ve built over the past 25 years remains relevant for future generations. It’s a celebration of our people and their unwavering commitment to progress,” he added.

The winning submissions highlight M K Land’s dedication to progress and transformation.

Khaidir’s submission focused on creating an impactful digital presence, transforming the Group’s social media platforms from zero into dynamic communication channels.

Meanwhile, Hazirah’s branding strategy emphasised efforts to uplift the company’s brand identity and expand its visibility, aligning it with its aspirations for growth and impact.

The Best Use of Social Media Content Award acknowledges the innovative strategies we’ve employed to connect with our audience in meaningful ways, building a digital presence from the ground up. Meanwhile, the Corporate Branding Award highlights our commitment to redefining how M K Land presents itself to the world, ensuring the brand remains relatable, dynamic and impactful,” shared Khaidir and Hazirah upon receiving the recognition.

We’re excited to use these achievements as a foundation for further transformation and to continue setting benchmarks in both digital and branding excellence,” they added.

The MPRA, recognised globally by industry bodies such as the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN), the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), and the World Communications Forum Association (WCFA) in Davos, Switzerland, is Malaysia’s most distinguished PR industry awards. This year’s event, attended by over 400 practitioners, celebrated excellence and transformation in the field.
