KUANTAN, Dec 2 (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, has reminded all parties that immoral or perverse acts must not take place in Pahang.

Commenting on the arrest of 208 individuals at a spa that has recently drawn public attention, His Royal Highness said he was shocked and hopes such activities will be stopped.

“I was quite surprised by the news of such activities. I hope this does not happen in Pahang. I would like to advise everyone to avoid these perverse acts. I also ask local councils in all districts to monitor such activities.

“If there are establishments providing such facilities (spa), they must be monitored more closely to ensure immoral activities do not occur in Pahang,” His Highness said in a statement uploaded on the Pahang Royal Household’s Facebook page today.

The Sultan of Pahang also stressed that appropriate action must be taken against any party involved in, or providing space for such activities.

On Friday, the media reported that 208 individuals were arrested in a raid on a health club in Chow Kit, believed to be a location for immoral activities.
