JEDDAH, Nov 1 (Bernama-SPA) -- Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Programme, is set to hold the 5th Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah from Nov 9 to 12, with the theme "From Makkah to the World."
The programme includes over 80 sessions and 60 specialised workshops, drawing participation from academics, researchers, and representatives of hajj affairs offices and diplomatic missions, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Additionally, the event will host over 2,400 trainees from around the world.
The accompanying exhibition will cover an area exceeding 52,000 square metres, with the participation of more than 260 exhibitors from 137 countries, showcasing the latest technologies and services related to the hajj and umrah ecosystem.
It is expected that this year's conference will witness the launch of high-impact initiatives and the signing of new agreements, which will enhance the integration of technology, urban development, and the pilgrims.
This direction embodies the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leading role in serving Islam and Muslims.
