Authorities slapped a RM22,000 fine and a five-month suspension on a cafe selling “banh mi” and sticky rice in Vung Tau in southern Vietnam for food poisoning that affected 342 people. Authorities confirmed that the contamination was caused by Salmonella and E. coli bacteria.
