KARACHI (Pakistan), Feb 4 (Bernama-AA) -- An Australian man who allegedly ploughed through a busy shopping centre in a car appeared in court on Tuesday, charged with 13 conduct and driving offences, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported, citing local media.
Lawrence Gardam, 45, allegedly drove through a shopping centre in the city of Sale, Victoria, on Monday, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported.
He allegedly drove through the food court before exiting on the other side and fleeing the scene.
The charges against him include engaging in reckless conduct that placed persons in danger of death, driving a motor vehicle in a manner that was dangerous to the public, and driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of an illicit drug.
