ABU DBS 2025 TO FEATURE OVER 70 SPEAKERS, EXPERTS

SHAH ALAM, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- More than 70 speakers and experts from around the world will take part in the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union Digital Broadcasting Symposium (ABU DBS) 2025, set to be held from Feb 24 to 27.

According to ABU, the event, which will be officiated by Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching on Feb 25, is expected to attract delegates from over 40 countries, representing more than 200 organisations.

Themed ‘Personal-cast: Interactive Broadcasting, Tailored for You,’ the symposium, to be held at a hotel in Klang, will feature 12 conference sessions, workshops, masterclasses, and an exhibition showcasing products and solutions from over 25 companies.

“Among the notable speakers are Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) director-general Datuk Suhaimi Sulaiman, WorldDAB Asia Pacific Technical Group Chair Dr Les Sabel, and NETSTAIR chief executive officer Dr Ahmad Moradi, along with many other industry experts,” ABU said in a statement today.

“DBS 2025, through its conference sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and masterclasses, will address challenges, explore solutions, and share insights on digital transition, technology implementation, creative content development, and enhancing user experiences,” it said.

The symposium is supported by four major sponsors - RTM, WorldDAB, IPSB Technology, and TM One -and will feature around 50 sponsors, exhibitors, and partners.
