KOTA KINABALU, March 15 (Bernama) -- Yayasan Sabah Group has unveiled the MADANI Rebate Incentive programme to offer student borrowers a substantial 30 per cent rebate on their outstanding loan balances when they fully settle their loans between April and June this year.
Its director, Datuk Seri Gulamhaidar Khan Bahadar said it was part of their effort to reduce the financial burden of borrowers while promoting complete loan settlements and follows the foundation’s impressive achievement of collecting RM6.6 million in loan repayments annually for two consecutive years - 2023 and 2024 - demonstrating its strong financial management and borrower commitment.
“To further enhance the loan repayment process, the organisation will launch a new Loan Repayment Portal. This digital platform provides graduates with comprehensive access to payment information, rebate details, loan policies, and FAQs,” he said in a statement today.
Borrowers can utilise various payment methods, including Maybank2u for Maybank account holders, as well as JomPAY and telegraphic transfers for customers of other banks, while traditional payment options remain available through counters at Menara Tun Mustapha, Teluk Likas here, and the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) Kota Kinabalu.
