GAZA, March 27 (Bernama-WAFA) -- The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) on Thursday expressed its deep concern for the safety of its nine crew members who have been besieged by the Israeli occupation forces in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, for five days, the Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.
In a statement, the Society held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for their fate.
The PRCS called on the international community to intervene immediately and urgently to allow rescue crews to reach the Tal al-Sultan area in Rafah to determine the fate of the missing crews.
It also called on the international community to provide urgent protection for medical crews working in the Gaza Strip.
