1.MANPOWER MINISTER TO MEET GOJEK, GRAB OVER LOW EID BONUS PAYOUT -- JAKARTA GLOBE

Manpower Minister Yassierli plans to meet with ride-hailing companies, including Gojek and Grab, following protests from online motorcycle taxi drivers over what they deem an insufficient Eid bonus. The ministry has received reports that some drivers were granted only Rp 50,000 (US$3) in holiday bonuses, which they argue is too low.

The government has approved a controlled pilot program to deploy telecommunications services using low earth orbit satellite technology. This project will be conducted by Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) from the United States. It is scheduled to conclude before January 1, 2031.
