MAKKAH, April 30 (Bernama-SPA) -- Makkah security patrols arrested four Chinese nationals for fraud, after promoting deceptive and fake Hajj campaign advertisements on social media claiming to offer accommodation and transportation within the holy sites, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
They were detained, legal procedures were taken against them, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.
The General Directorate of Public Security urged citizens and residents to adhere to Hajj regulations and report any violations by calling 911 in the Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, or 999 in other parts of the Kingdom.
