Zeitview Raises US$60 Mln To Accelerate Visual AI Platform For Critical Infrastructure

KUALA LUMPUR, March 6 (Bernama) -- Zeitview, the leader in visual artificial intelligence (AI) for critical infrastructure, has announced a capital raise of US$60 million led by Climate Investment, with participation from existing investors. (US$1=RM4.41)

Current investors include Valor Equity Partners, Union Square Ventures, Upfront Ventures, Euclidean Capital, Energy Transition Ventures, Hearst Ventures, and Y Combinator.

Zeitview Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Dan Burton in a statement said the funding will allow the company to accelerate its buildout of Visual AI and increase investment in its Insights software platform to support customers across their critical infrastructure assets.

Meanwhile, Climate Investment Managing Director and Head of Growth Equity, Patrick Yip noted the company’s commitment to decarbonisation technologies and how Zeitview’s platform will expand across its existing markets and into new ones, leveraging a global network of investors.

According to a statement, Investment Director at Climate Investment, Mike Bishop will join Zeitview’s Board of Directors.

Zeitview’s software improves inspection times and cost requirements while addressing challenges posed by shortages in skilled labour and increased inspection frequencies.
