Madison International Realty Expands To South Korea, Appoints Jun Park As Head 

KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 (Bernama) -- Madison International Realty, a real estate private equity firm, has expanded its footprint in Asia with the appointment of Jun Park as Head of South Korea and the opening of its first office in the country.

Located in central Seoul, the new office will be Madison’s eighth global office and its second in Asia, following the launch of its Singapore office last April, according to a statement.

The Seoul office, set to open in the second quarter of the year, will enhance the firm’s engagement with South Korean investors and further its long-term growth strategy in the region.

Madison International Realty Founder and President, Ronald Dickerman said the expansion underscores the strategic importance of Asia to the firm’s future growth.

“We have a strong existing client base in South Korea, and the appointment of Jun alongside the opening of our Seoul office allows us to strengthen relationships by providing a local presence. At the same time, Jun will seek to expand our client base as market conditions in the United States (US) and Europe align with our unique investment strategy,” he said.

Park will lead the firm’s efforts in South Korea, working closely with Madison’s senior leadership team, including Dickerman, global co-heads of equity capital markets Evan Abrams and Michael Siefert, and Head of Asia Yichao Mark.

His responsibilities will include providing localised service to Madison’s existing South Korean clients, expanding investor relationships, and exploring potential capital deployment strategies in the region.

Park, who brings over 14 years of experience in real estate investment, finance, and private equity, previously led the Real Asset Investment Department at Hyundai Marine and Fire Insurance, overseeing over US$1.3 billion in alternative assets.

His expertise spans investments across various real estate asset classes, including data centres. He holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from UCLA, a Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering from KAIST, and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Hanyang University.

Madison International Realty specialises in providing liquidity solutions to global real estate investors. The firm acquires partial ownership stakes and joint venture interests in prime properties across the US, the United Kingdom, and Western Europe. It also offers equity solutions for real estate platforms seeking to retain assets, grow portfolios, and/or raise capital efficiently.
