OCBC Bank Offers Loan Relief To Customers Affected By Putra Heights Fire

KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 (Bernama) -- OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, along with its Islamic banking arm OCBC Al-Amin Bank Bhd, is urging customers impacted by the recent fire at Putra Heights to contact the bank for possible relief or restructuring of their loans and financing schemes.

OCBC Bank said in a statement today that all requests will be prioritised and attended to on a case-by-case basis, with the aim of finding the most suitable solution for each customer.

Chief executive officer Tan Chor Sen said the bank is focused on helping affected customers and urged them to stay resilient during this difficult period.

“As an enabler to our customers, we are ready to help any individual or business adversely affected so they can deal with payment issues with peace of mind,” he said. 

Individual customers can reach the bank at 03-8317 5011, while SME and microenterprise customers are advised to call 03-8317 5200. The lines are open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm.
