Bursa Malaysia Launches Bursa RISE+ to Enhance Visibility, Profile Of Companies

KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia Bhd has announced the launch of its expanded research incentive scheme, Bursa Research Incentive Scheme Plus (Bursa RISE+), to enhance the visibility and corporate profile of selected Malaysian companies.

In a statement today, Bursa Malaysia said that through the initiative, which is supported by the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF), the Malaysian public would have access to comprehensive research coverage conducted by licensed research houses.

Chief executive officer Datuk Fad’l Mohamed said Bursa RISE+ underscored the exchange’s commitment to promote the capital market as a source of funding for public listed companies (PLCs), private companies, and pre-listed firms.

“Through its comprehensive research coverage, Bursa RISE+ aims to raise the profile and visibility of Malaysian companies among investors, thereby facilitating their fundraising efforts throughout their lifecycle,” he said.

The research coverage of Bursa RISE+ is wider compared to the earlier phase, Bursa RISE, which focused solely on PLCs, now also encompassing private companies with growth potential, as well as pre-initial public offering (IPO) firms en route to listing on Bursa Malaysia.

Bursa RISE+, a two-year initiative, aims to enhance the visibility of 60 PLCs throughout its duration and 40 private companies or pre-IPO firms each year.

The research reports produced under the initiative will be accessible to the public via the MyBURSA Customer Portal.
