KUALA LUMPUR, May 9 (Bernama) -- The National Tech Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) has officially opened nominations for the PIKOM Digital Excellence Awards (PDEA) 2025.
PIKOM chairman Alex Liew urges all eligible candidates to step forward and showcase their achievements to join the ranks of Malaysia's digital elite.
"These awards are more than just a mark of recognition, they validate the transformative power of Malaysia's digital innovators.
"Being recognised at PDEA can be a defining milestone for both careers and companies, one that opens new doors, builds credibility and amplifies influence," he said at the launch of PDEA 2025.

PIKOM PDEA 2025, Malaysia's premier platform for recognition excellence in digital innovation and leadership, will be held on September 10.
The awards deliver unparalleled recognition and visibility, elevating winners in the eyes of customers, partners, investors, and the broader digital ecosystem.
Meanwhile, PIKOM chief executive officer Ong Kian Yew said that while PDEA 2025 retains its core objectives, it also introduces new award categories in key growth areas such as cybersecurity, financial technology, retail and e-commerce, digital infrastructure, and cloud services.
Additionally, there will be four categories for individuals, including tech luminaries, chief information officers, women tech leaders, and tech entrepreneurs.
"The key criteria include revenue growth, profitability, leadership, strategic vision, market expansion, and company impact. Nominations will be shortlisted by the Evaluation Committee and an audit will be conducted by Russell Bedford and PIKOM's auditors. The judging panel will consist of highly respected industry leaders," he said.
