KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 (Bernama) -- XOX Bhd’s managing director Datuk Kenneth Vun has been appointed chairman at Nexion Technologies Ltd effective May 12, 2025.
Nexion is a Hong Kong-listed company specialising in enterprise network infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, and digital transformation technologies, a joint statement from XOX and Nexion said today.
This appointment is significant for Nexion and XOX as the Malaysian telecommunication and digital solutions group holds a 13.27 per cent indirect stake in Nexion through its investment arm.
"The strategic shareholding reflects XOX’s continued efforts to broaden its presence beyond Malaysia," the statement said.
By establishing ties with a Hong Kong-listed technology company, XOX is taking a meaningful step towards building regional connectivity and enhancing its role in the wider tech ecosystem.
As a seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in technology, telecommunications, financial services, and capital markets, Vun's appointment is key as the company strengthens governance and accelerates growth.
Vun’s expertise in digital innovation, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and financial technology development will guide Nexion’s strategy and support its mission to deliver secure, scalable solutions across the Asia-Pacific.
