CPO Output Up 11.02 Pct In Oct, Palm Oil Exports Rise 18.58 Pct -- MPOB

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s crude palm oil (CPO) production jumped 11.02 per cent month-on-month (m-o-m) to 2.04 million tonnes in October 2025 from 1.84 million tonnes in September 2025, said the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB).

Palm oil exports rose 18.58 per cent to 1.69 million tonnes from 1.43 million tonnes in the preceding month, MPOB said in its Performance of the Malaysian Palm Oil Industry, October 2025 report.

Palm kernel output rose 10.50 per cent m-o-m to 477,775 tonnes from 432,409 tonnes in September. Crude palm kernel oil production increased 6.76 per cent to 210,529 tonnes from 197,197 tonnes, while palm kernel cake output increased 6.14 per cent to 229,765 tonnes from 216,465 tonnes.

CPO inventories climbed 16.55 per cent to 1.47 million tonnes in October from 1.26 million tonnes a month earlier, while processed palm oil stocks fell 9.53 per cent to 990,766 tonnes from 1.09 million tonnes.

“This brought total palm oil inventories higher by 4.44 per cent to 2.46 million tonnes in October from 2.36 million tonnes in September,” MPOB said.

Palm kernel oil exports shed 14.49 per cent to 100,491 tonnes from 117,520 tonnes, while palm kernel cake exports slid 15.30 per cent m-o-m to 217,177 tonnes from 256,412 tonnes.

Oleochemical exports increased 8.19 per cent m-o-m to 254,265 tonnes from 235,024 tonnes, and biodiesel exports tumbled 67.62 per cent to 11,318 tonnes from 34,958 tonnes.

“CPO imports in October were nil while total palm kernel oil imports surged 53.52 per cent m-o-m to 8,695 tonnes from 5,664 tonnes in September,” MPOB added.
