KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 20 (Bernama) -- Affin Hwang Investment Bank Bhd has partnered Daiwa Securities Group Inc to strengthen its long-standing relationship and advance cooperation in wealth management.
In a joint statement today, Daiwa Securities said combining its expertise in the wealth or high-net-worth client business across Asia with Affin Hwang's customer base would provide multifaceted services to clients in Malaysia.
Daiwa Securities Group and Affin Hwang have built a longstanding cooperative relationship in the field of equity brokerage since 2013. Both companies have contributed to the advancement of institutional investor services in the Malaysian market through the partnership.
"To further expand this collaboration, the two companies have now signed a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic alliance in the area of wealth management.
"With the signing of this MoU, they will jointly establish a service framework for high-net-worth clients across domestic and international markets, offering products and solutions tailored to the needs of affluent clients in Malaysia," it said.
