KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 (Bernama) -- Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) posted a higher net profit of RM438.07 million in the financial year ended Oct 31, 2025 (FY2025) compared to RM303.54 million a year ago.

Revenue rose to RM2.93 billion in FY2025 versus RM2.26 billion previously, due to higher sales and the full consolidation of Paragon Pinnacle’s financial results in the fourth quarter, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

This was also due to the completion of the sale of 49.8 hectares of industrial land at the QUANTUM Edge business park in 2Q 2025, it added.

"Other projects which contributed to the revenue were Eco Botanic, Eco Botanic 2, Eco Spring, Eco Tropics, Eco Business Park I, Eco Business Park II, and Eco Business Park III in Iskandar Malaysia and Eco Majestic, Eco Forest, Eco Sanctuary and Se.Duduk D’ Kajang in the Klang Valley, " it said.

For the fourth quarter of FY2025, net profit rose to RM126.73 million from RM83.42 million, while revenue increased to RM750.78 million from RM638.45 million previously.

EcoWorld said projects in Iskandar Malaysia contributed RM2.27 billion or 50 per cent to the group’s total sales, followed by the Klang Valley with 39 per cent contribution, and Penang with 11 per cent.

In a separate statement, EcoWorld president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said FY2025 was a record-breaking year for the company, with sales of RM4.55 billion, profit after tax of RM445 million, as well as total dividends of 7.0 sen per share declared — the highest ever achieved in a single financial year.

He said the group’s balance sheet continued to strengthen with key financial metrics registering double-digit growths from FY2024, while future revenue remains high at RM4.89 billion, providing clear earnings and cashflow visibility.

"To sustain our sales momentum, we have increased our annual sales target to RM4.0 billion for FY2026.

"This will be supported by sizeable new projects, which are Eco Business Park VII, EcoWorld’s first project in Negeri Sembilan; Eco Business Park 8 in Kulai, Johor; and Eco Radiance, our new Klang Valley township in Semenyih, Selangor," he said.

On the recurring income front, Chang said the ongoing construction of the shell and core for the data centre in Eco Business Park V, to be leased to Pearl Computing Malaysia Sdn Bhd, is well on track.

Upon its completion in the second half of FY2027, the substantial fixed rental income from this asset will serve as a strong anchor for the group’s ambitions to grow its recurring income base to about 20 to 30 per cent of net profits over time, he added.
