KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- DDPAI, a pioneer in smart mobility and imaging technology, has introduced its 2026 dash cam model, the DDPAI N5 Pro, positioning the device as a compact, premium in-car camera designed to combine interior aesthetics with advanced safety features.
“With the N5 Pro, we wanted to prove that high performance doesn’t need to be bulky,” said a DDPAI spokesperson in a statement, adding that the compact design is intended to minimise obstruction to the driver’s field of view while retaining a premium finish.
The N5 Pro features a dual-channel recording system, capturing front footage in 4K UHD and rear footage in 2K resolution, with an additional 3K 60-frame-per-second (fps) high-frame-rate mode designed to reduce motion blur during high-speed driving.
To improve data reliability, the device is equipped with DDPAI’s D²save 2.0 dual-storage system, combining 64 gigabytes (GB) of built-in eMMC storage with a MicroSD card slot, enabling automatic backup of critical footage in the event of card failure.
The model also introduces radar-based quick-wake parking monitoring and supports optional 4G connectivity, enabling real-time remote preview, collision notifications and vehicle location tracking via GPS.
The N5 Pro supports 5GHz Wi-Fi 6 for faster video transfers, allowing download speeds of up to 40 megabytes per second (MB/s) for quick access and sharing of recordings.
To mark the launch, DDPAI said users can connect with its global community through its official channels on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, featuring installation guides, user content and promotional activities.
