99 Speed Mart FY2025 Net Profit Accelerates To RM614 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- 99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Bhd posted a higher net profit of RM614.20 million for the financial year of 2025 ended Dec 31, 2025, from RM490.27 million the year before.

Revenue increased by 14.5 per cent to RM11.43 billion from RM9.98 billion in FY2024, supported by positive contributions from new outlets.

“The total outlet count rose 9.3 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y), as well as about RM49.7 million in incremental revenue from the bulk sales e-commerce platform. The higher revenue resulted in a 17.6 per cent increase in gross profit to RM1.29 billion, while the gross profit margin improved by 0.3 per cent to 11.4 per cent,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Correspondingly, the group noted that its total sales transactions grew 14.3 per cent to 532 million, with an average “basket size" of RM21.5 in FY2025. Other income increased by RM23.4 million, or 76.8 per cent, primarily attributable to the interest income earned from deposit placements using the initial public offering (IPO) proceeds.

Quarterly, the group’s net profit rose to RM157.16 million in the fourth quarter of 2025 (4Q 2025) from RM124.42 million a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter under review jumped to RM3.08 billion from RM2.58 billion previously.

“Looking ahead, the group will continue to champion convenience and affordability, guided by its Near 'n Save ethos. 99 Speed Mart said it will continue to strengthen its bulk sales platform by expanding its product range, giving customers greater choice and value.

The group said it remains committed to strategic expansion, targeting about 250 outlets annually, reflecting its confidence in market demand and long-term growth potential. “The group continues to demonstrate strong growth and execution, not only meeting but exceeding its target of opening 250 outlets, and reaching over 3,000 outlets in total during the reporting period,” it added.
