KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 (Bernama) -- CIMB Bank Bhd aims to attract more than 60,000 visitors to its CIMB OCTOFest, held from March 6 to March 8, 2026, at MyTOWN Shopping Centre.
CIMB Group chief brand and marketing officer Toni Darusman said the event, organised in collaboration with KL Foodie, a brand under Foodie Media Bhd, brings together more than 50 local vendors, alongside cultural showcases and live performances.
He added that CIMB OCTOFest has also received encouraging feedback, following the bank’s involvement in Ramadan bazaars previously held in Taman Tun Dr Ismail and Bangsar.
“The event reflects our commitment to advancing customers and society through action, with a series of specially curated programmes that bring together commerce, community and culture to deliver more meaningful experiences.
“At the same time, CIMB OCTOFest empowers micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to accelerate digital payment adoption, reward customers with meaningful festive offerings, and uplift underserved communities,” he said during a press conference at the launch of CIMB OCTOFest here today.
Toni said the bank continues to strengthen its push for cashless transactions among micro and small businesses.
“Customers who make QR payments via CIMB OCTO will receive special merchandise, while entrepreneurs benefit from improved transaction efficiency and enhanced cash flow during the festive season,” he added.
