KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 (Bernama) -- Malaysian-grown e-commerce platform, PGMall, is anticipating a five per cent increase in new shopper growth following the official onboarding of the Zalora Official Store onto its platform today.
It said the strategic collaboration enhances access to authentic, trend-forward fashion at scale, bringing one of Southeast Asia’s leading online fashion destinations directly to PGMall’s growing community of shoppers.
Serving over three million shoppers and 30,000 sellers nationwide, PGMall has maintained a flat five per cent transaction fee since its inception, among the most competitive in the market, supporting long-term and inclusive growth for businesses.
As the platform continues to expand its ecosystem, PGMall welcomes more brands, distributors and sellers to onboard and leverage its growing digital consumer base across Malaysia.
Zalora, a leading online fashion destination in Asia, said it will continue to deliver accessible and inspiring fashion to consumers, including selected collections such as Zalia and Lubna on PGMall.
"The onboarding of Zalora Official Store not only strengthens our fashion category but also reinforces our mission to build a fair, accessible and seller-friendly ecosystem that supports sustainable growth," said PGMall chief operating officer Jerry Ng in a statement.
Zalora director Matej Urban said the collaboration with PGMall enables the brand to connect with a broader base of Malaysian shoppers through a dynamic and fast-growing local marketplace. "We look forward to contributing our fashion expertise and curated offerings while supporting the continued growth of Malaysia’s e-commerce landscape," he added.
According to Ipsos Malaysia 2025 insights, about 70 per cent of Malaysians shop online, with fashion remaining one of the leading e-commerce categories.
In conjunction with the launch, exclusive introductory privileges will be extended to shoppers, including special discounts of up to 20 per cent on selected items, enhancing access to curated and authentic fashion offerings.
