KOTA BHARU, March 21 (Bernama) -- Police are tracking down seven individuals to assist in investigations into violent and property crimes in Tanah Merah.
Tanah Merah police chief Supt Mohd Haki Hasbullah said that four of them are from Kampung Felda Kemahang 3 - Norahamdasukiran Mat Nawi, Muhd Zulhimi Zahari (Pujo), Azuan Mat Ali (Duan Pok Mi), and Mohamad Rudie Fikri Zakaria (Mek Yu Pok Ya).
“Two others, Mohd Zahari Mohd Rofi and Mohmad Zamri Mohd Rofi, are from Kampung Paku, Gual Ipoh, while another individual is from Kampung Lalang Pepuyu.
“These men, aged 33 to 39, are being sought to assist in the investigation under Section 379 and Section 324 of the Penal Code,” he said in a statement today.
Mohd Haki said that members of the public with information can contact Insp Chek Azri Che Ismail at 017-6970665 or the Tanah Merah district police headquarters’ (IPD) Criminal Investigation Division.
Additionally, the public can also contact the Tanah Merah IPD hotline at 09-955 8429 or 09-955 6222 and any nearby police station.
“These individuals are urged to come forward and provide their statements to the police immediately. Community cooperation is crucial in providing any information that could assist in the investigation,” he said.
