TANGKAK, Oct 25 (Bernama) -- Four people, including an 18-year-old girl, were killed in an accident involving four vehicles at Kilometre 32.5 of Jalan Muar–Segamat near Bandar Baru Sagil here last night.
Tangkak police chief Supt Roslan Mohd Talib said the 10.20 pm crash involved three motorcycles and a Perodua Myvi car.
He said three victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while another died while receiving treatment at Tangkak Hospital.
“The three who died at the scene were two men aged 20 and an 18-year-old girl.
“The other victim, a 19-year-old Yamaha 135LC motorcyclist, died while being treated at the hospital,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.
Roslan said all victims were riders or pillion riders of Yamaha 135LC and Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycles. The driver and passenger of the Myvi escaped unhurt.
He said the cause of the crash is still under investigation, and those with information are urged to contact Investigating Officer Insp Khairul Azmi Ibrahim at 011-12445836 or report to the nearest police station.
