SEREMBAN, Nov 12 (Bernama) -- A male student from China was found dead from a suspected fall from the 18th floor of a condominium in Bandar Baru Nilai here this morning.
Nilai district police chief Supt Abdul Malik Hasim said they received information about the incident from the public stating that a man was found lying prone on the fifth floor of the building at 7 am.
"Preliminary investigations show that the victim, aged 26, was a student living in the condominium with another of his compatriots,” he said in a statement today.
Initial checks by the Negeri Sembilan contingent police headquarters forensics team did not find any suspicious exterior wounds on the victim, and no personal items belonging to him in his home were reported missing.
The body was sent to Rembau Hospital for post mortem to identify the cause of death and the case has been classfied as sudden death, he added.
