KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 3 (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah boosted the morale of the Sultan Ahmad Shah (SAS) Malaysian Veterans Hockey Association ahead of the 2024 World Masters Hockey World Cup.

Al-Sultan Abdullah attended the association’s high-tea reception, lifting the spirits of the players and presenting the Jalur Gemilang and a memento to the teams representing Malaysia in various age categories at the world event.

SAS Malaysian Veterans Hockey Association president Tengku Arif Temenggong Tengku Fahd Mu’adzam Shah said they were aiming to bring home at least a gold and silver medal this time.

“We hope to build from the past successes of the teams, especially the 60s team that won bronze at the previous World Cup in Tokyo.
