RAPID KL CELEBRATES TWO DECADES WITH PUBLIC TRANSPORT EVOLUTION EXHIBITION

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- A special exhibition showcasing Rapid KL’s accomplishments, initiatives and the evolution of public transport under its management will take place this weekend at Raintree Plaza, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) here.

Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana), in a statement today, said the event is to commemorate two decades of Rapid KL’s operations in the Klang Valley.

Prasarana president and group chief executive officer Mohd Azharuddin Mat Sah said the exhibition aims to illustrate Rapid KL’s continuous commitment to providing excellent service for commuters.

“This anniversary celebration not only highlights our journey as a provider of public services but also our significance in the lives of city dwellers who rely on us daily.

“We welcome all city folks to explore the exhibition and booths to reflect on the evolution of Rapid KL. We encourage visitors to use the MRT service to reach TRX Station to avoid traffic congestion and enjoy a smoother journey,” he said.

Prasarana said various exciting activities await visitors to the exhibition, such as a display of Rapid KL’s history and the LRT3 Shah Alam Line Project, an MRT3 Public Inspection booth and booths featuring strategic partners of the MyTourist Pass.

“The exhibition will also include a career booth with Prasarana Group, where human resources personnel will be on hand to share information and assist visitors.

“Other activities include the MyRapid Junior programme, Rapid KL Music Night, Acoustic with Rapid KL and the Rapid KL Food Fest featuring 49 local vendors, further emphasising Rapid KL’s commitment to the Rapid KL Support Lokal initiative,” the statement said.
