SHAH ALAM, Feb 18 (Bernama) -- Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and ACMAR FHP Group Berhad today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), formalising a strategic collaboration to advance the university’s academic, professional, and community-driven initiatives.
In a statement, UiTM said that the MoU signified the university’s commitment to expanding industry collaboration, thereby increasing student development opportunities through industrial training programmes, research projects, and professional development initiatives.
“This MoU not only focuses on student academic and professional growth initiatives, but also emphasises a joint commitment to research collaboration to advance industry knowledge and innovation
“This collaboration also encompasses corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that focus on community well-being programmes throughout Malaysia,” the statement read.
UiTM said that with the signing of the MoU, the university became the first educational institution to form a partnership with ACMAR FHP Group Berhad.
The MoU was signed by UiTM vice-chancellor Professor Datuk Ts Dr Shahrin Sahib @ Shahibuddin, and Acmar Group executive director Johnson Tee.
