PUTRAJAYA, Feb 25 (Bernama) -- The National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) under the Public Service Department (PSD) is offering a self-paced, certified online training programme, the Malaysia MADANI Public Service (MMPA) training module through the Public Sector e-Learning (EPSA) to all civil servants.
In a circular dated Feb 13, the Public Service director-general Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz stated that the EPSA online platform is driven by the digitalisation in the public sector training and aims to diversify training delivery methods for civil servants.
“Through EPSA, public servants gain online access to knowledge, without being restricted by time constraints or specific locations,” he said, adding that the MMPA can be accessed at https://www.epsa.gov.my/.
Wan Ahmad Dahlan said reports on the implementation of the training must be submitted to INTAN periodically through the appointed Malaysia MADANI coordinating officers in each department.
“Civil servants should clearly understand the Malaysia MADANI concept, which aligns with efforts to reform the public service.
“It is hoped that the EPSA MMPA implementation can further boost efforts to enhance civil servants’ understanding about the MADANI Malaysia concept,” he added.
The MMPA training module is part of the Public Service Reform Agenda under Key Outcome Area 1: Appreciation of Values and Governance introduced by Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar in 2024.
The Malaysia MADANI concept, announced officially by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in 2023, is based on six pillars: Sustainability, Prosperity, Innovation, Respect, Trust and Compassion.
