GAMALUX OILS HOSTS IFTAR KASIH 2.0, BRINGING JOY TO ORPHANS OF BAITUL SAKINAH AS-SHARIFF

KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 (Bernama) -- Gamalux Oils Sdn Bhd (Gamalux Oils), a producer of raw materials for biodiesel and animal feed, reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare by hosting Iftar Kasih 2.0, a heartwarming initiative dedicated to orphans and asnaf from Baitul Sakinah As-Shariff.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Usman Ahmed, said the Iftar Kasih 2.0  corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme reflects the company’s dedication to sharing the blessings of Ramadan and supporting those in need.

"Ramadan is a time for reflection, giving, and strengthening bonds. At Gamalux Oils, we are committed not only to sustainability in business but also to making a meaningful difference in society.

"Iftar Kasih 2.0 embodies our pledge to spread kindness and ensure these children experience the joy and warmth of this holy month," he said in a statement today.

Held yesterday (March 17) at Baitul Sakinah As-Sharif in Port Klang, the event brought together 40 attendees, including Gamalux Oils employees and the home's orphans and asnaf, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebration.

The initiative aimed to provide a meaningful Ramadan experience for both company employees and the underprivileged children, ensuring they too could embrace the spirit of the blessed month.

To further brighten the occasion, Usman said each orphan received duit raya, adding to the festive atmosphere.

He expressed hope that Iftar Kasih would inspire more individuals and businesses to cultivate generosity, particularly during Ramadan.
