AIDILFITRI: SPECIAL FAMILY VISITS AT PUSPEN FROM APRIL 6 - AADK

PUTRAJAYA, March 24 (Bernama) -- The National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) will hold special visit sessions for families and guardians of clients undergoing the Institutional Treatment and Rehabilitation (RPDI) programme at all Narcotics Addiction Rehabilitation Centres (Puspen) nationwide in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration.

AADK said that the visit session will be held for five days, from April 7 to April 11 for Pahang, Johor Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Federal Territories, Perak, Penang, Perlis, Sabah and Sarawak while for Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah it will start from April 6 to April 10.

“The visit aims to strengthen the bond between clients and their families or guardians, provide moral and emotional support, and offer them the opportunity to witness the progress of clients undergoing the AADK RPDI programme,” it said in a statement.

AADK added that the visits offer space and opportunity for families or guardians to reconnect with clients in a warm and supportive environment, serving as a therapeutic approach to aid in their recovery.
