KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 (Bernama) -- In the spirit of Aidilfitri, Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) has launched its festive video, titled ‘Selagi Ada Hormat’, a heartfelt tribute to Malaysia’s diversity and the importance of staying true to one’s roots.
Inspired by the personal journey of MAG Group managing director Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, the video delivers a powerful message of unity, respect, and inclusivity, the core values that define the nation.
“Malaysia flourishes when we embrace our differences as a source of strength. At MAG, diversity is not just a principle but the foundation of our success, driving innovation, inclusivity, and resilience. Progress requires moving beyond racial narratives to build a future shaped by mutual respect and collaboration.
“Through this festive video, we want to show that respect transcends race, religion, and social status – it is the essence of our unity and progress. By uniting our strengths, we can create a lasting impact, not just in aviation but across the nation,” Izham was quoted as saying in a statement issued by MAG today.
The statement said that through this initiative, MAG also reaffirms its commitment to driving positive change, ensuring that Malaysian Hospitality continues to inspire the way we connect with others while contributing to nation-building and long-term commercial sustainability.
MAG said, for over a century, Malaysia Airlines has grown alongside the nation, fostering unity through its people, services, and communities and as the parent company, MAG remained committed to inclusivity, recognising diversity as a key driver of innovation and progress.
“Today, more than 70 per cent of MAG’s top leadership team comprises individuals from diverse backgrounds, reflecting the power of varied perspectives, experiences, and a shared commitment to driving the organisation forward,” it said.
