PUTRAJAYA, April 17 (Bernama) -- The Jom Masuk U 2025 (JMU 2025) Carnival continues its nationwide tour, with the ninth zone set to take place from April 19 to May 18.
The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) said in a statement today that JMU 2025 would kick off in two zones:, namely Sandakan, Sabah, and Kuala Nerus, Terengganu.
According to the ministry, JMU 2025 was one of its key initiatives aimed at expanding access to higher education for students nationwide, particularly those who had completed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), or equivalent qualifications.
“This carnival serves as an important platform to deliver direct and comprehensive information on higher education pathways to prospective students,” it said.
Students attending the carnival will be provided with complete guides on the UPUOnline application process, sponsorship opportunities, educational loans, and financial assistance while also having the opportunity to interact directly with representatives from public higher education institutions and alumni.
The MOHE also called on students, parents, guardians, teachers, counsellors, and the public to participate in JMU 2025, to gather information, make informed decisions, and plan for a more structured future in higher education.
