MK CURTAIN OPENS NEW BRANCH AT PLAZA DAMAS

KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- MK Curtain has expanded its footprint with the opening of a new branch at Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas, bringing its high-quality interior decoration services to a wider customer base across the country.

In a statement today, the company said the new outlet, jointly owned by MK Curtain and its employee Mike Mak, was in line with the ‘Entrepreneurs in the Company’ concept introduced by its founder, Datuk Dr Calvin Khiu, to promote entrepreneurship among employees.

In the same statement, Khiu said the Sri Hartamas branch was established due to its strategic location, allowing MK Curtain to offer interior decoration services to residents in the surrounding areas.

“With strong demand from customers for interior decoration, particularly quality curtains, we at MK Curtain are confident that the business will continue to grow, with more branches to be opened in the future.

“MK Curtain will open another branch in Botani, Ipoh next week,” he said at the launch of the new branch, which was also attended by MK Curtain co-founder and managing director Datin Moon Sze Fui.

Founded in 2005, MK Curtain has firmly established itself in the local interior decoration market, supplying a broad selection of products, from curtains and blinds to wallpaper, cushions, window films and home decoration items at reasonable prices.

With 60 branches nationwide, MK Curtain is eyeing the opening of eight more this year, in addition to its existing outlets in Indonesia and Singapore.

The company recently introduced the “Authorised Retailer” concept, collaborating with entrepreneurs and shop owners interested in becoming its strategic business partners by setting up MK Curtain mini showrooms within their business premises.
