KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- The Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) on Tuesday launched the Selangor CXO Club 2025 at Menara AFFIN @ TRX, a year-long “boardroom accelerator” for Malaysia’s senior executives.
With AFFIN Group as the main sponsor, Sidec said the members-only series convenes senior leaders in small, off-the-record settings to sharpen business strategies, unlock access to capital, and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) that actually moves the P&L (profit and loss).
“The programme blends private roundtables, expert-led sessions, investor–founder dialogues, Capital Strategy Workshops, Coaching Corners and matching clinics - formats built to end with decisions, not decks. Each engagement closes with a board-ready takeaway and follow-through actions,” it said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Sidec chief executive officer, Yong Kai Ping, said the club was designed as an execution-driven platform to close the gap between intent and outcome.
“This is an execution room. Sharpen the strategy, warm up the capital, and move, ” Yong was quoted in the statement.
Sidec stated that the 12-month programme is structured around three distinct phases: ignition, acceleration, and growth, focusing on tackling practical leadership challenges, from securing investment and building strategic alliances that scale, to implementing digital transformation and driving customer-centric growth.
It added that the programme also features a line-up of “supercoaches” with proven track records across ASEAN scale-ups, public listings, and making early-stage investments in future market leaders, including Low Ngai Yuen from AEON Malaysia, Paramjit Singh (Exsim Group), Dr Jeff Lim (Luckin Coffee) and Mohd Atasha (Alphaus Inc).
The CXO Club provides practical formats such as fireside chats, masterclasses, capital strategy workshops, investor matching clinics and coaching corners, with each monthly theme concluding with an action checklist covering financing, governance, markets or technology adoption.
Sidec said the club’s recent engagements balance strategic depth with insider access, including an exclusive session on cloud, AI and digital innovation with Microsoft Malaysia and priority access to a Taiwan innovation trip.
“These touchpoints illustrate the club’s rhythm: informed outlooks, practical financing pathways, and curated ecosystems where relationships mature into working collaborations,” it said.
The Selangor CXO Club targets CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, CMOs, and senior leaders from SSM (Companies Commission of Malaysia) -registered companies with significant operations, particularly those seeking sharper capital strategies, disciplined execution, and practical AI adoption.
