KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- The operating hours for Bukit Jalil station today has been extended to 12.30 am in conjunction with the Himpunan Solidariti Bersama Gaza rally at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.
Rapid KL rail services operator, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail) said additional train services will be available to ensure the smooth movement of passengers and to allow them to return to their destinations comfortably.
“Other stations will end their operations as usual but passengers are allowed to exit the stations to continue their journeys,” the operator said in a statement today.
In addition, several selected interchange stations will have their operation times extended, including the Masjid Jamek Station for the Kelana Jaya line, Masjid Jamek, Plaza Rakyat, Hang Tuah, Chan Sow Lin, Maluri and Sungai Besi for the Ampang/Sri Petaling lines, Hang Tuah Station for the Monorail line, Pasar Seni, Merdeka, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) and Maluri stations for the Kajang line and TRX, Chan Sow Lin and Sungai Besi stations for the Putrajaya line.
Passengers are encouraged to use their Touch ‘n Go cards for smoother journeys will token users are advised to purchase their return tokens early before leaving the station.
