BUDGET 2026 CONSIDERS DEVELOPMENT PRIORITIES OF EVERY STATE

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 (Bernama) -- Budget 2026 will roll out various development, infrastructure and social enhancement projects identified under the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP), reflecting proposals submitted by the respective state governments.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, when tabling Budget 2026 in the Dewan Rakyat today, said that he had met with state leaders to understand their development priorities and needs.

Penang

• PLUS Traffic Dispersal Project from Juru Toll to Sungai Dua Toll
• Kubang Semang Health Clinic and Seberang Perai Tengah Integrated Health Complex
• Upgrade of Water Intake Points at Titi Kerawang and Teluk Awak and Installation of Raw Water Pipes to Teluk Bahang Dam
• Upgrading of Bertam Sports Complex, Kepala Batas, Seberang Perai Utara
