KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 (Bernama) -- Armani Media Sdn Bhd today launched The Asia Records, a regional recognition platform aimed at becoming one of Asia’s most prestigious awards, celebrating the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations.
The initiative, founded by the company’s chief executive officer Datuk KK Chua, seeks to transform regional recognition by highlighting Asian talent and success across fields such as the arts, sports, science, and community service.
Chua said The Asia Records is designed to inspire individuals and organisations to pursue excellence by documenting their achievements, promoting dedication and distinction.
“This initiative not only showcases Asian talent but also encourages healthy competition and motivation. With 60 per cent of the world’s population from Asia, we recognise the vast untapped potential in this dynamic region,” he said in a statement today.
The launch ceremony was officiated by Tunku Fauzi Tunku Abdul Malek, adviser of The Asia Records, at Glenmarie 8 Business Park, Shah Alam, Selangor.
Chua added that every significant achievement deserves recognition, serving as inspiration for others to follow the paths of outstanding individuals.
He expects The Asia Records to become one of the region’s most important awards, second only to the Guinness World Records.
Meanwhile, Tunku Fauzi said many successful Asians are not formally recorded, leaving their achievements less known to the public.
“With The Asia Records, we aim to document these accomplishments as a reference and motivation for others to achieve similar or greater success.
“Many Asians have excelled globally, and their successes should be celebrated and preserved,” he said.
He added that such recognition is important for producing more successful individuals who bring pride to their countries, as these achievements represent both personal and national accomplishments.
