KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 3 (Bernama) -- Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to hit the entire state of Penang, as well as several areas in Kedah, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Sarawak, and Sabah, from 11 pm tonight until 3 am tomorrow.
In a statement issued tonight, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said the affected areas in Kedah include Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, Kulim, and Bandar Baharu. In Perak, the affected areas are Kerian and Larut, Matang, and Selama.
In Kelantan, Gua Musang is expected to experience severe weather, while in Terengganu, the areas affected will include Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, Marang, Dungun, and Kemaman.
In Pahang, Jerantut, Temerloh, Maran, Kuantan, Bera, Pekan, and Rompin are expected to be affected.
In Sarawak, the affected areas are Kuching, Samarahan, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, and Bintulu, while in Sabah, the areas involved are Tawau and Sandakan (Kinabatangan).
