TENGKU PERMAISURI OF SELANGOR UNVEILS POH KONG’S ANGGUN ‘PESONA TANJUNG’ COLLECTION

SHAH ALAM, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin, today launched Poh Kong’s latest Anggun jewellery collection, Pesona Tanjung, at the brand’s main manufacturing facility, here.

Her Royal Highness arrived at the facility at 10.30 am, greeted by Poh Kong Jewellery Manufacturer Sdn Bhd managing director Christine Choon and the company’s top executives.

Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin then officially launched the jewellery collection and signed the commemorative plaque.

The Anggun Pesona Tanjung collection is a special line that pays homage to the elegance, strength, and poise of women across Asia.

Inspired by Selangor’s state flower, the tanjung (mimusops elengi), this latest collection features nine petals that embody unity, purity, and resilience, celebrating the harmony between Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and Poh Kong’s artistry in contemporary craftsmanship.

Earlier, in her address, Christine said the Anggun collection exemplifies the harmony inspired by women’s beauty, elegance, and strength, brought to life through the artistry of their craftsmen.

“For more than 40 years, Poh Kong has seamlessly combined the art of gold craftsmanship with Malaysia’s cultural heritage.

“As Poh Kong approaches its 50th anniversary next year, we are proud of the individuals who have built this legacy and continue to shape its remarkable journey,” she said, adding that they were deeply honoured by Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor’s presence at the launch of the new collection.
