KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 13 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued warnings of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in 10 states as well as the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, and Putrajaya until 9 pm tonight.
In a statement this afternoon, it said the affected states are Kedah, Penang, Perak, Pahang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor.
Similar weather conditions are forecast for Sarawak, affecting Kuching (Bau and Kuching), Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Sarikei (Julau), Sibu (Kanowit and Selangau), Kapit, Bintulu, and Limbang (Lawas).
The warning also covers Sabah, including the Interior, West Coast, Sandakan (Tongod, Telupid, and Beluran), and Kudat.
