KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 23 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Islamic Youth Movement (ABIM) president, Ahmad Fahmi Mohd Samsudin remains at the helm of the youth organisation for a second term for the 2025-2027 session.
ABIM Secretary-General Ahmad Fawwaz Ahmad Shukri said he was re-elected as president at the 54th Muktamar Belia Islam (Islamic Youth Congress) held yesterday at the Bangi Avenue Convention Centre (BACC).
He said the post of deputy president is held by Ustaz Mohamad Saifuddin Abdul Latiff, who was previously Perak ABIM Perak president, replacing Dr Mohd Faridh Hafez Mhd Omar (repeat: Dr Mohd Faridh Hafez Mhd Omar).
“The Five Vice-President posts are filled by Muhammad Aliemran Norasid, Dr Fatin Nur Majdina Nordin, Adli Zakuan Zairakithnaini, Dr Mohamad Haeqal Ishak and Salman Mohd Yusop,” he said in a statement today.
He also said the post of Assistant Secretary-General is held by Muhammad Dzul Aiman Zulkefly, while the Financial Secretary post is held by Wan Noor Fadhilah Wan Ibrahim.
“This congress marks a strategic turning point in ABIM’s direction as a platform for Islamic youth leadership, particularly in the context of the Gen Z era and the challenges of the post-normal world,” he said.
