CELEBRATE NEW YEAR'S EVE AT SUNWAY LAGOON AND SUNWAY LOST WORLD OF TAMBUN

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 (Bernama) --  Sunway Theme Parks will ring in the New Year with a high-energy countdown celebration at Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Lost World of Tambun on Dec 31, featuring live performances, interactive activities and a spectacular fireworks display.

In a statement, Sunway Theme Parks said Santa is still around and, before heading back to the North Pole, will be staying a little longer to celebrate the final night of the year with guests, turning New Year’s Eve into one last festive highlight of the holiday season.

“When the clock strikes twelve, the night sky will light up in dazzling colour, creating a joyful and memorable moment to close out 2025 and welcome the year ahead together,” it said.

The New Year’s Eve celebration forms part of the parks’ festive storyline that has been unfolding throughout the holiday season, with Santa swapping snow for sunshine and turning his vacation into a festive adventure.

This holiday escape comes to life through Sunway Theme Parks’ Christmas campaign, ‘Santa On Holiday,’ which runs until Jan 11, 2026, with Santa teaming up with his holiday partners to host cheerful surprises, activities and festive moments that keep the celebrations going well beyond Christmas Day.

Santa’s festive crew includes Himalaya Sports, the campaign’s official partner, which brings energetic activities and on-ground engagement to add extra fun to his holiday plans.

Supporting partners F&N and Li-Ning also join the adventure, helping Santa spread cheer and keep the festive spirit alive throughout the parks.

Adding to the festive fun, Coca-Cola, together with Sunway Tiny Toys, joins Santa’s holiday celebration with a Christmas redemption campaign running from Dec 15, 2025, to Jan 11, 2026.

“Guests who purchase Sunway Tiny Toys merchandise can enjoy complimentary Coca-Cola drinks, with extra treats for Coca-Cola-themed merchandise purchases, creating refreshing moments as part of the season’s celebrations,” the statement said.

From Santa’s sunny holiday adventures to the grand New Year’s Eve countdown, Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Lost World Of Tambun promise an unforgettable festive season filled with excitement, colour and shared celebrations.
