KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 3 (Bernama) -- All parties must act with sensitivity and avoid unnecessary polemics when expressing their views, said Finance Minister’s political secretary Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim.

The Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) chief said all views should be constructive and serve the wider public interest.

He said that in line with the MADANI Government’s emphasis on compassion, trust and shared progress, all parties should act with restraint, strengthen cooperation and maintain public confidence in the administration.

“In truth, we are all part of one large family. Differences of opinion are natural and should be managed in a spirit of mutual respect, understanding and consideration for one another.

“Despite our different backgrounds and ethnicities, we share a common goal, to preserve and build a brighter future for Malaysia,” he said in a Facebook post.

In the post, Muhammad Kamil also shared a screenshot of a local newspaper report headlined 'Konvensyen Khas Pemuda UMNO diteruskan - Dr Muhamad Akmal'.

The one-day convention at Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre (WTC KL) today served as a platform to discuss, review and decide UMNO’s direction amid current political developments.

Muhammad Kamil wished UMNO Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh success, hoping the convention’s discussions would benefit the nation.

“May this special convention provide a meaningful platform for the youth, strengthening their role in contributing ideas and constructive views for the nation’s future.

“In Malaysia’s diverse reality, stability and harmony can only be maintained through wisdom, moderation and shared responsibility,” he said.
