ACI’25 is IKIMfm’s annual flagship event that celebrates the best nasyid works in the country, based on public votes and assessments by a panel of professional judges.
The awards also serve as a key platform to recognise the contributions of nasyid artistes in strengthening a music scene driven by messages of dakwah, humanity and spirituality, while highlighting creativity and the production of quality works that resonate positively with the public.
Speaking to reporters, Zulkifli said the awards help inject fresh energy into the nasyid music scene and reflect growing participation from artistes across generations, particularly younger talents.
He said the development offers renewed hope for a revival of nasyid music similar to its heyday, while congratulating IKIM and all parties involved in organising ACI’25.
“Alhamdulillah, we can see the emergence of a new generation of nasyid practitioners, supported by guidance from seniors who have long been part of the industry.
“More importantly, the quality and messages conveyed are vibrant and varied, touching on themes such as the environment, spirituality, unity and peace. This is the kind of art we want, one that builds and uplifts rather than tears down,” he said.
ACI’25 was organised by IKIM in collaboration with sponsoring partners Insaf Insani and Mardhiyyah Hotel & Suites, with the support of Tarbiah Sentap Production and UiTM.
