KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Transport (MOT) will continue to enhance service quality and strengthen sustainable mobility initiatives by 2026, in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI.

In a post on its official Facebook account, MOT expressed its commitment, through the implementation of various strategic initiatives and projects throughout 2025, focusing on the well-being of the people, and guided by the values of inclusivity and sustainability.

“This is to ensure that the benefits of the development of the transport sector can be enjoyed comprehensively by all Malaysians,” the ministry said.

The post was also accompanied by a special video, highlighting the outcomes of the ministry’s continuous efforts throughout 2025, made possible through the strong support of all parties in advancing the country’s progressive and resilient transport agenda.

Among the achievements featured in the one-minute-six-second video are the MY50 travel pass, which recorded sales of 2.6 million, and helped users save up to 67 per cent on monthly travel costs; the FLYsiswa subsidy, which benefited 44,598 students; and the MyLesen B2 programme, which assisted 23,589 participants from the B40 group.

The ongoing efforts reflect MOT’s commitment to supporting a national development agenda which is inclusive, sustainable and people-oriented.
