KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 (Bernama) -- No student should miss registration at the MARA Junior Science College (MRSM) due to financial constraints, said Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) chairman Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.
Ahead of the simultaneous registration of Form One and Form Four students at all MRSMs tomorrow, Asyraf Wajdi said he has directed MRSM management to contact students who fail to report for registration, particularly those facing financial difficulties, so that assistance can be provided.
“I do not want any student to miss out because of poverty,” he said in a Facebook post today.
He urged parents or guardians facing financial or other issues to contact their respective MRSMs immediately, adding that MARA will ensure students are able to continue their studies.
The 2026/2027 school session for Group A schools in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu began yesterday, while Group B schools in Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor and the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya began today.
