KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 17 (Bernama) -- Herbal Farmer, a modern traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) retail brand, has been recognised by ASEAN Records for the Most Sold Avocado Multigrain Functional Wellness Beverage.
Herbal Farmer chief executive officer Teo Chin Hong said 249,354 units of 500-gramme packs were sold from 2019 to 2025, equivalent to 4,155,900 sachet servings.
"This recognition by ASEAN Records is a testament to our team’s efforts and the top favourite choices of our customers.
"We believe that with the ASEAN Records, it will definitely enhance our brand image through the quality and quantity as well," he told Bernama after the certificate presentation ceremony by ASEAN Records managing director Eldrick Koh here today.
Also present was Tourism Malaysia's deputy director-general, Samuel Lee Thai Hung.
Teo said that since its inception, Herbal Farmer had been committed to redefining the perception of TCM by moving beyond traditional practices towards what the company terms as modern Chinese medicine and wellness in the market.
Despite ongoing market challenges, he said the company remained optimistic about its growth prospects and confident in its strategic direction.
As part of its expansion plans, Teo said Herbal Farmer will be expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint with upcoming outlets in Sarawak and Ipoh, Perak, as part of its commitment to improving accessibility and bringing the products closer to consumers.
In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year festivities, Herbal Farmer has also launched more than 20 new festive products, including specially curated gift sets.
"Usually, the Chinese will buy the gift set for their customers, for their friends and for their families. So this is the crucial part that we launched today," Teo said.
The ceremony was enlivened by a lion dance performance before proceeding with the product unveiling and ribbon-cutting, and was further complemented by a question-and-answer session offering prizes as well as a lucky draw.
